Cookies & Local Storage Policy

Overview

AMV, AMVgo and amvgo.com are owned and operated by Little Tigers Food and Future Pvt Ltd (“the Company”, “we”, “us”). AMV is a fleet-operations app for road-transport businesses and vehicle owners in India. This policy explains how the AMV app, AMV Web (the app in a web browser, amvgo.com/app) and the website (www.amvgo.com) use cookies and similar technologies.

In the app

The AMV app on your phone does not use web cookies or Google Analytics. It stores small amounts of data on your device that it needs to work — your login session, chosen language, and saved fleet data so the app opens quickly and shows your data without internet.

On the website

www.amvgo.com asks first. Only if you tap Accept does it use Google Analytics, which sets cookies on www.amvgo.com (their names start with _ga) to count visits and see which pages are used, from what kind of device and roughly where (city and country). If you tap Decline, nothing is sent to Google and no cookie is set. Apart from Google Analytics after your OK, the website loads nothing from other companies’ servers, and the account-deletion page sends the number and code you type only to our own server.

In AMV Web

AMV Web keeps what it needs to work in your browser’s storage — your sign-in, language and saved fleet data (on a computer marked as shared, only until the browser closes). It never runs Google’s or anyone else’s code. With the same Accept as the website, it tells Google Analytics the names of the pages you open, such as “Trips” or “Fleet”, through a hidden page of www.amvgo.com — never your trips, vehicles, names, numbers or money.

Managing them

You can change your answer at any time: “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page of www.amvgo.com, or Settings ▸ This browser in AMV Web. Switching Google Analytics off removes its cookies. You can clear the app’s stored data from your device settings, or AMV Web’s from your browser’s site settings; either signs you out.
