Who we are
AMV (Auto Motive Vehicles), AMVgo and amvgo.com are owned and operated by Little Tigers Food and Future Pvt Ltd (“the Company”, “we”, “us”). AMV is a fleet-operations app for road-transport businesses and vehicle owners in India. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with, and your rights under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”).
Data we collect
- Account: your mobile number (confirmed with an OTP), name, role and the profile details you add.
- Fleet data: vehicles and their registration details, drivers, contacts, trips, routes, expenses, commissions and payment records you or your team enter.
- Documents & images: photos of bills, RC, licences and other documents you scan or upload, and profile pictures.
- Driver verification (only drivers who choose to verify): through DigiLocker, your driving licence details and Aadhaar-based identity details (name, date of birth, gender, address). We keep only the last 4 digits of your Aadhaar number — never the full number or the Aadhaar photo. A live selfie is compared by AI with your licence photo; once it matches, the verified photo becomes your profile picture and the licence photo is deleted. Verified details are shown only to you and to fleets you have accepted.
- Location: only while the app is open and only if you allow it — to show where you are on maps, find fuel prices near you and, for a driver on a live trip (or an owner travelling on one), to share the vehicle’s position with that trip’s fleet. AMV does not collect your location in the background.
- Voice: if you use voice input, your phone’s speech service (Google) turns your speech into text; the Co-Pilot’s spoken replies are made by a text-to-speech service (Microsoft). We don’t keep recordings.
- Payments: when you pay in the app, Razorpay processes the payment; we receive its status and reference, never your card or UPI details.
- Device & usage: app version, device type, language, push-notification token, crash and error reports, and the days you open the app with where it was installed from (Google Play, a direct download, or a web browser).
- Website and web app visits (only if you tap Accept): on www.amvgo.com and in AMV Web, Google Analytics records the pages and screens you open (page names such as “Trips”, never your trips, vehicles, names, numbers or money), your device and browser type, your approximate location (city and country, which Google works out from your internet address) and a random identifier kept in a cookie on www.amvgo.com.
- Google Play testing: if you join our Google Play test, the Gmail address and mobile number you gave us, kept only to run the test and deleted when it ends.
How we use it
To provide and secure the service; sign you in; run your fleet, money and compliance features; read documents and answer Co-Pilot questions with AI; verify drivers; send alerts and notifications; provide support; prevent fraud and abuse; and improve AMV. We use it only for these purposes.
AI processing
Documents and photos you scan, driver selfies (for the photo match), Co-Pilot questions and the weather summary of your trips (place names, truck numbers, routes and loads) are processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) only to return the result to you. Under its commercial terms it does not use them to train its models, and we never use them for advertising.
Maps, routes and places
To draw maps and plan routes, the places and positions you look up are sent to Mapbox and TomTom. Their results are shown to you and not stored by us. The map itself sends Mapbox anonymous usage data, as Mapbox’s terms describe.
Weather
To show the weather for your trucks, trips and your phone, AMV’s server asks MET Norway for the forecast of an area about 10 km wide around each place (a rounded position, never your exact location, and nothing about who you are). Your phone’s location is used for this only if you have allowed location for AMV. Trip destinations are looked up by their place name on AMV’s own list.
Videos (YouTube)
Videos in the Feed play in YouTube’s own player, from YouTube (Google). When you play one, YouTube receives what a video player usually does (such as your device’s address); this is covered by Google’s Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy). AMV doesn’t send YouTube anything about you or your fleet.
Who can see your data
Within AMV, a business’s records are seen by its owner and the managers and drivers it adds, each as their role allows; one fleet never sees another’s. A driver’s record and verified details are shared with a fleet only after the driver accepts it.
Sharing with service providers
- We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with providers that run parts of AMV for us, under confidentiality and data-protection obligations, and where the law requires:
- cloud database, storage and hosting (Supabase); sign-in SMS (Airtel); push notifications (Expo, Google Firebase); AI (Anthropic); maps and routes (Mapbox, TomTom); weather forecasts (MET Norway, which receives only rounded areas); text-to-speech (Microsoft); website and web app analytics (Google Analytics, only if you accept); payments (Razorpay); vehicle, challan and FASTag checks (licensed data providers, only when you ask for one); driver verification (DigiLocker, Government of India, only when a driver starts it).
Storage & security
Data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure with access controls, encryption in transit and per-fleet isolation. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable safeguards to protect your information.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise it as described below, keeping only what the law requires us to keep, for as long as it requires.
Deleting your account
- Where: in the app (More ▸ Profile ▸ Delete account) or at amvgo.com/delete-account. Either way we send a code to the account’s own mobile number to confirm it’s you.
- When: 7 days after you ask. Signing in to AMV again within those 7 days cancels it. After that, your data is removed from our live systems straight away and from backups within 30 days.
- Deleted: your login and number, your Personal profile and every business profile you own — vehicles, trips, expenses, documents and photos, contacts, round trips, messages, AI chat memory and saved trip estimates — and your likes, comments and fuel-price reports.
- Anonymised: if you drove for other fleets, their trips and money records stay in their books, shown as “Deleted driver”; your name, number, licence, Aadhaar details, photos and verified details are wiped. Error and usage logs keep no link to you.
- Kept, because the law requires it: payment receipts and the coin ledger for 8 years (books of account), with the payer’s name and number on the receipt; FASTag recharge records. Short-lived security records (such as sign-in code attempts) expire on their own.
- Lost: unused coins (they have no cash value), and access for the managers of a business you delete.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can access, correct, update or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, nominate someone to act for you, and raise a grievance. Most of this you can do in the app; for anything else, contact the Grievance Officer below.
Children
AMV is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date below will change and significant updates will be shown in the app. Last updated: 17 October 2026.
