Questions
How much does a challan check cost?
The first challan check of each vehicle is free; after that each check is 5 coins. Paid checks use AMV coins: 1 coin = ₹1. AMV asks before every paid check, and a check that fails on our side gives its coins back.
Can I pay a challan in AMV?
Not yet: paying challans in AMV is coming soon. Today AMV shows each challan and what’s due; pay it at echallan.parivahan.gov.in.
Why does the vehicle have to be verified?
Challan details belong to the vehicle’s owner, so AMV checks them only for a vehicle your fleet has verified as yours.
Is AMV a government app?
No. AMV is a private app. Challan details come through licensed data providers; the official source is e-Challan.
